Did you know? Although the coefficient of expansion of conventional concrete will vary somewhat, depending on the type of aggregate, it is usually assumed to be about 6 millionths per degree F.
To achieve durable repairs it is necessary to consider the factors affecting the design and selection of repair systems as parts of a composite system. This chapter reflects on the planning and design of concrete repairs.
