Course Synopsis:
Did you know? Glass beads are an effective means of highlighting pavement markings for operations occurring at night, during low visibility conditions, or during periods when the pavement surface may be wet, but should not be used in black paint.
This course contains the Federal Aviation Administration standards for markings used on airport runways, taxiways, and aprons. It incorporates guidance on use of the enhanced taxiway centerline markings and the surface holding position signs.
