Course Synopsis:

Subsurface Investigations provide information to engineers of conditions below the ground’s surface.  These investigations require use of particular equipment for specific purposes, such as soil and rock classifications, samples, engineering characteristics, and ground water data.  This course describes equipment, techniques, and methods commonly used by geotechnical engineers in subsurface investigations.
